Flames in the Chamber from both sides as the Minister Questions reaches its end! Tonight, we’ve heard from nearly all Ministers and departments, with insights ranging from the Defence Department’s stance on the United Kingdom’s security to the Foreign Office’s updates on current and past alliances.
The Leader and Deputy Leader of the Opposition didn’t hold back in tonight’s final debate asking series of Questions to pressure the government on its final night. However, the Government struck back even harder toward the Opposition Bench. A sight to see for those sitting in the Gallery.
As tonight’s final Minister Questions session wraps up, it also marks the end of the Prime Minister’s term within the Chamber. With all eyes now on the King, he is set to sign the Dissolution of Parliament this evening. Alongside the Queen Consort, he will announce the timeline for the upcoming election by the end of the evening.
Stay tuned here for more details on the upcoming election timeline from the Royal Family, including information on those submitting their candidacies. Who will become the fourth Prime Minister of the United Kingdom?
