Bullying in any form is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. This Anti-Bullying Policy outlines our commitment to preventing and addressing bullying behaviour within our organisation.

Definition of Bullying

Bullying is defined as any deliberate, hurtful, and repeated behaviour intended to harm, intimidate, or humiliate an individual or group. Bullying can take various forms, including but not limited to verbal, physical, social, or cyberbullying. It may involve actions such as name-calling, teasing, spreading rumours, exclusion, harassment, or any other behaviour that creates a hostile or intimidating environment.

Scope

This policy applies to all individuals associated with the Habbo United Kingdom, including employees, veterans, VIP’s decorated members, and anyone participating in our programs or activities.

Prevention

The Habbo United Kingdom is committed to fostering a culture of respect and inclusion. We will actively promote awareness and understanding of bullying behaviours through training programs, educational materials, and ongoing communication. Prevention efforts will focus on building empathy, promoting positive relationships, and fostering a sense of community.

Reports can be made to your senior ranking member, or designated reporting channels. The Habbo United Kingdom is committed to protecting the confidentiality of individuals reporting incidents to the extent allowed by law.

Investigation

All reports of bullying will be taken seriously and will be promptly and impartially investigated. Investigations will be conducted in a manner that respects the privacy and dignity of all parties involved. Individuals involved in the investigation process will receive appropriate support, and efforts will be made to ensure a fair and thorough assessment of the situation.

Consequences

If bullying is substantiated following an investigation, appropriate corrective action will be taken. Consequences may include counselling, disciplinary action, or other measures deemed necessary to address the behaviour and prevent its recurrence.

Retaliation

Retaliation against individuals who report bullying or participate in an investigation is strictly prohibited. Any person found to engage in retaliation will be subject to disciplinary action.
