Military Intelligence
Military Intelligence (MI) is the UK's engagement, education and security branch.
It is led by the Director General and their deputy and is also known as the Security Service.
MI liaises with the Home Office and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Events to provide support in domestic intelligence and engagement. It also liaises with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to provide support in foreign intelligence.
8iC MI Officers complete weekly visits to, and reports on, foreign agencies; and leadership host games in HQ.
The branch is also in charge of creating and maintaining training materials for Low Ranks & Employees, organising the Royalty and Specialist Protection (RaSP) at events (such as formal addresses, Knighting Ceremonies, Royal Family events, etc.).
