PROCLAMATION BY HIS MAJESTY, THE KING
WHEREAS,
This fourteenth day of June in the name of our Lord, I do hereby dissolve and adjourn the business of both the House of Commons of the United Kingdom and the House of Lords of the United Kingdom for the remainder of the Legislative session.
Pursuant to the Constitution of the United Kingdom, a general election for the House of Commons and subsequent Office of Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland shall commence on the twenty-seventh day of June, as such be recognised as the national polling day of these respective offices, with the following parliamentary session commencing on the twenty-second day of June in the year of our Lord, two thousand and twenty four.
By the grace of God and entrusted to me as Sovereign, I do hereby affix my signature to this proclamation.
