ABOUT
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Events is the body of the Habbo UK Government that is responsible for maintaining engagement, media presence and communicating across the organisation.
Our aim is to create and maintain public resources, organising and coordinating all ceremonial activities, organising public events and informing members through news and social media of the current affairs of the organisation.
WHAT WE DO
Examples of what the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Events does are:
- Creation & distribution of graphics to promote programs and events.
- Organise and host community events.
- Organise public ceremonies.
- Advertise the Habbo UK activities through its official social media accounts.
- Publish relevant news for the community on the Habbo UK website and host Press Conferences.
WHO WE ARE
The head of Department is the Rt Hon Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media & Events (Vacant), MP who holds a 6iC position. They are assisted by the Rt Hon Minister of State for Media and Creative Industries (Vacant), MP who holds a 7iC position. The Department also oversees and manages the Public Affairs Academy and a team of Culture Coordinators who are tasked with assisting any projects that the department is working upon.
